Then put the hacking tool not the setup in the folder with your cia file. Now copy and paste the name of your cia file without. Now it should be extracting this may take awhile. Part 2- Model Swapping After the game is done extracting, there should some files and folders. Go to the folder with the files you want to use to model swap. There should be files inside of it with numbers for names. Items are now randomized too, not just where they are found in the wild, but in shops as well in terms of their availability and also how many of them there are.

The way characters talk can now be different to thanks to the way they are referred to changing. It is very well done and while it does take a bit of work to install, I do think that it is worth checking out if you are a fan of the series. I will be honest and say that if you are not someone who has played through Ruby, Sapphire and the main version of Emerald.

Do you know a fix? BTW can't wait for the beta to come out :wink: im gonna play that either way. I'm playing through Dio Vento's star sapphire to check, as that should allow me to see all pokemon in game and judge if any require an edit.

But once I complete that, it should be good to release. Can't say I've had any experience with that particular error message, are you sure you're selecting the right file and not the containing folder? And are you sure there are no files that are not normally a part of the games files that are in the selection? I had one case where I accidentally dragged a file, and it copied it without me noticing so that there were 2 mudkip models in the files, and GARCtool refused to load or do anything until I found and removed it.

I think that I was using garc unpacker rather than just the universal garctool when extracting so I'll check later but that may be the problem. Garc unpacker seems to extract all the other models fine though. But I'm really glad your rom hack is so close to completion! It looks like it could actually be pretty fun considering most rom hacks are just challenge modes or all versions of the original games I think some texture changes might spice up ORAS enough to make me want to actually catch em all.

It might be something thats blocking the texture files from going onto your romfs try uninstalling that that might work. Anyway, I've updated the OP a bit more and there might be some helpful information for people in the discussion on Gbatemp. You can post now and register later.
