I do feel that they nailed the look of the band very well and the way the venues are based on places that they actually played is really cool. As a massive Aerosmith fan, I loved this, but there are some glaring omissions here. It has a high-tempo beat and would have been perfect for this game. The supporting acts lineup is a tad on the disappointing side if I am being honest with you. There is some good stuff here such as Ted Nugent and Slash, but with only around 40 songs, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith does feel like more of an expansion than a full game.

If you have played any Guitar Hero game before then you will know what to expect with this game. You have to hit the right notes in time to the music and try to get a high score and also finish the song. This one feels a fair bit more forgiving than Guitar Hero III did, but if that is a good thing I think it is that all depends on your own personal preference. I hand on heart could not have been any more in when Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was announced.

What I said about having the guitar on display in my game room was not just me messing with you, I really do! I love this band and think that this game does them justice.

I just wish it had more of their songs on it! I get the support act thing they were going for and there is some great music here, but I personally would much rather have had more Aerosmith songs.
